[Attendance] Geolocating employees with Assistance
Odoo currently in its latest versions is committed to the geolocation of its employees. It seems like a wise bet to me, but precision in these data has not yet been achieved. With the user location module, the administrator can track the time and location when an employee checks in and out. You can compare and search with the integrated map.

- The login details will consist- location (Name of the city, State and Country), Date and time.
- You can see the history of an employee according to data from an attendance.
- Identify and group the device and browser types.
- See on "Map Tool" the locations registered with an assistance.
In the latest versions, Odoo has provided a kiosk mode for "Attendances".
With "Kiosk Mode" activated, you proceed to sign in.
We select the employee we want to register the entry or exit.
We register the check in or check out in the system.
In the same way we can do it manually.
Record created associated with the logged in employee.
The form view shows the data provided by the system for the geolocation of check-in and check-out.
Related to "Attendance", an "Employee Log" record is created with the information of each action that the employee has performed.
Each Employee Log record has an integrated map with the geolocation of each attendance.
The tool provides the option to âCompare Locationsâ.
The comparative map view provides the last two attendance locations.
From an Employee Log we can regenerate the map view and perform searches within the map itself.
