This module enhances the multi-company experience in Odoo by allowing administrators to define a short name or acronym for each company or branch.
Key Features
- Easily assign short names (e.g. MCC, MCSF, CH-NS) to companies and branches directly from the company form.
- The multi-company dropdown now shows short names/acronyms alongside full names â perfect for users managing many branches.
Usage Instructions
Follow these steps to set up and use the Company Short Name module effectively.
1.The short name field is clearly visible in the company form (with tooltip help).
Branches are listed with their own short names â making everything consistent and easy to identify.
2.In the Companies list view, you'll see the new Company Short Name column.
When editing any company or branch, simply enter your preferred short name or acronym in the dedicated field.
