Display the applied pricelist name on every POS receipt so customers always know which pricing was used.

What does this module do?

When a cashier applies a pricelist to a POS order, the standard Odoo receipt does not show which pricelist was used. POS show pricelist in receipt adds the pricelist name directly to the printed and screen receipt, giving customers full transparency about the pricing applied to their order.

The visibility of each pricelist on the receipt is configurable individually: you decide which pricelists appear and which remain hidden. Only POS administrators can change this setting.

The name of the applied pricelist is printed on the POS receipt, visible to both cashier and customer.

Per-pricelist control

Configure individually whether each pricelist should be shown on the receipt. Show some, hide others - full flexibility.

Admin-only setting

Only users with POS administrator permissions can enable or disable the receipt display for each pricelist.

Discount transparency

Customers can see which promotional or discount pricelist was applied, improving trust and reducing checkout disputes.

Compatible with all Odoo deployment types: on-premise community, enterprise, and Odoo.sh cloud hosting.

Printed and screen receipt

The pricelist name appears on both the on-screen receipt shown at the POS and the printed version sent to the customer.

How to display the pricelist on receipts

Follow these steps to enable pricelist display on POS receipts.

  1. Activate pricelists in POS settings

    Go to Point of Sale > Configuration > Settings and find the Pricing section. Enable Pricelists and select which pricelists are available at the point of sale.

  2. Enable receipt display on each pricelist

    Open the pricelist you want to show on receipts (Point of Sale > Products > Pricelists). Check the Show in receipt option to make this pricelist name appear on the POS receipt whenever it is applied to an order.

  3. Validate an order with the pricelist

    At the POS, apply the configured pricelist to an order and validate it. The pricelist name will appear on the receipt automatically.

Configuration

Step 1 - Enable pricelists at the Point of Sale

Navigate to Point of Sale > Configuration > Settings. In the Pricing section, enable the Pricelists option and select which pricelists are available for this POS terminal.

Step 2 - Configure each pricelist

Open each pricelist from Point of Sale > Products > Pricelists and check Show in receipt to enable receipt display for that pricelist. Only pricelists with this option enabled will appear on the receipt.
