Odoo 16 Generate Different Barcode & Internal Reference (Enterprise)

This module allows to generate products barcode number & internal reference number.

Note: This module is tested and working in Odoo Enterprise edition but not tested in Community version. And we are supporting Ubuntu OS and not Windows OS.

How to use

  • Before Install the module, install the below python packeges.
    • 1. sudo apt-get install barcode
    2. sudo pip3 install python-barcode
  • In 'Product Variants' menu select product and if you want to generate barcode number, select 'Generate Barcode Number' option then popup window will open.


  • When click on generate button, products barcode number is generate. If checkbox is true then it will override the existing barcode number of products.


  • In Image 1, if you select 'Generate Internal Reference' option then below popup window will open. When click on generate button, products Internal reference number is generate. If checkbox is true then it will override the existing internal reference number of products.


  • In configuration, we have options available for generate products barcode & internal reference number when new product is created.
