Google Drive Attachments
This module enables seamless synchronization of your attachments with Google Drive. Easily back up your files, configure filters for specific records, and maintain a well-organized cloud storage system. Automate your backups and ensure your data is secure and accessible anytime.
Configuration
Go To General Settings > Google Drive Attachments .
Enable 'Sync attachments on google drive' option.
For the Folder ID, obtain the folder ID from Google Drive for the destination folder where files will be synced.
Google Drive Configuration
After filling in all the necessary fields, click the 'Authenticate' button .
Fill in the details such as the Client ID and Secret Key.
In the attachment option, you can add a filter to specify which attachments need to be backed up. If this option is left blank, all attachments will be backed up.
Sign In to Your Gmail Account.
In the Chatter, there is an option for attachments where you can attach multiple files.
After successful attach file it will be displayed in chatter.
A scheduled action runs automatically to back up the attachments.
In Google Drive, you can find the attachments synced with their parent records. Here is the backup attachments.
