Odoo To Google Sheets Connector

The Google Sheets Integration Module is a powerful tool designed to connect your Odoo system with Google Sheets, enabling seamless data synchronization and management. This module caters to businesses that rely on real-time data sharing, reporting, and collaboration across teams.

Configuration

To integrate Google Sheets with your Odoo environment, you must first install the following Python packages:

  • oauth2client: For handling OAuth 2.0 authentication.
  • gspread: To interact with Google Sheets API.
  • google-api-python-client: FFor using various Google APIs, including the Sheets API.

Installation Command: Run the following command in your terminal to install all required packages:

pip install oauth2client gspread google-api-python-client

Install the module, then create a Google Service Account Key by following this step-by-step video guide, which covers the installation, configuration, and provides an overview of the module.

Upload The Google Service Account Key

Go To: Setting / Technical / Google Servcie Account Key

Upload the json file you created earlier, Then click on "Validate The Key".

You will get a notification of success and the status pass to "Success".

Create a Google Sheets File

Open the Google Service Account Key File and Copy The "client_email"

Go to google sheets and create a new sheets, Then click on Share with others.

Share the sheets with the "client_email" that you copied before, Then give to it access of Editor.

Integrate Odoo with Google Sheets

Copy the ID of the sheets, the ID between /d/ **** /edit

Go To: Setting / Technical / Google Sheets Integration

  • Create new Google Sheets Integration.
  • Give a name for the integration.
  • Paste the Google Sheets ID.
  • Choose a model to be uploaded to google sheets.
  • Choose Uploade mode "Manual" or "Automatic".
  • Select the fields you want to upload and arrange them as you wish.
  • Click on "Fetch Data Manually" to upload the data manually to the google sheets.
  • Or you can choose Automatic mode that upload the data automatically with a Scheduled Action.
Note: The id and write_date Fields Are Always Uploaded. For optimal performance and reliability, the module automatically includes these two essential fields in every upload.

Google Sheets Data

You can see that the selected fields are uploaded into the google sheets in the appropriate order in Odoo.

You can upload as many of table to the same sheets or to diffrente sheets.

Customize The Scheduled Action

Go To: Setting / Technical / Scheduled Actions

Search for "Google Sheets Integration" You can choose the execution time every Minutes, days, Hours...etc.

This Scheduled Action execute only for the intagrations where the upload mode is Automatic.

AttributeError: 'list' object has no attribute 'get'



Edit as follows to fix the error:

I’ve now resolved the issue — there were a few additional adjustments needed beyond the original suggestion, but your input was very helpful in identifying the root of the problem.
