Cancel Manufacturing Order

This module adds functionality for users to cancel manufacturing orders that are already marked as completed, improving workflow flexibility.

Empower Your User

  • Navigate to Settings > Users & Companies > Users.
  • Add the user to the Manufacturing Orders - Cancel group. This will enable them to see the Cancel button on relevant Manufacturing Orders (MOs).

Verify Your Inventory

  • Before proceeding, confirm the current stock quantity of the product. For example, you currently have 45 units in inventory.

Cancel a Completed Manufacturing Order

  • Go to the Manufacturing Orders and open Done MO which needs to be cancel
  • You’ll notice the Cancel button is now visible. This option is exclusive to Manufacturing Orders that are marked as done.
  • Click on the Cancel button to initiate the cancellation process.

Watch the System Restore Your Inventory

  • Once the Manufacturing Order is canceled, observe how the system automatically adjusts the stock. The product quantity increases from 45 units to 50 units, seamlessly returning the 5 units from the canceled Manufacturing Order back into your inventory.

Streamline Bulk Cancellations

  • For efficiency, you can also cancel multiple Manufacturing Orders simultaneously. Select the desired Done Manufacturing Orders from the list view, then click on Cancel Manufacturing Orders from the Actions dropdown menu.
