Import Products/Inventory
Overview
This module helps to import products/inventory from excel file.
Feature
- This module allows user to import products/product variants with Quantity on hand and Image via XLS or XLSX file.
- User can Add new products/product variant in POS directly. For that user should check Available in the Point of Sale check box in wizard.
- User need to select Product variant with qty on hand option in order to import products with qty on hand.
- All Basic version of image is supported.
- Easy to install. No more configuration needed for this.
How It Works
Import Products or Product Variants with qty on hand Wizard.
Upload your file with .xls or .xlsx extension.
Xls File
Follow the below instruction to prepare Product File.
- First row contains Title of Columns.
- First column contains as Product Name.
- Second column contains as Internal Reference(Optional).
- Third column contains as Product List Price(Optional).
- Fourth column contains as Product Cost Price(Optional).
- Fifth column contains as Product Type(Optional).
Product Type must be from below opitions.
1. Stockable Product.
2. Consumable.
3. Service.
- Sixth column contains as Product Image with Url or File Path.(Optional).
- All Basic version of image is supported, like(.jpg,.jpeg,.png).
- Seventh column contains as POS Category.
- User define POS Category in xls file if it is not exist in system, then user have to create POS Product Category ('Point Of Sale -> Configuration -> Products -> Pos Categories -> Create') and upload again (Optional).
- Eighth column contains as Product Stock Location.
- Ninth column contains as Product Qty on Hand .
- Tenth column contains as Product Serial No.(Optional).
(when user select Product Variants with Qty on Hand then, Columns 8th to 10th used and Product Type must be Stockable Product.)
Product Variants which imported from file
Manage Location and Quantity on hand.
Create Inventory adjustment via xls data file when, user select Product Variants with Qty on Hand.
