Features

1- stock transfer between companies from inventory
2- If any company validates a Delivery order Automatically create stock move in the selected company in contacts
3- Option to choose the destination Warehouse in the setting.

Configure Inter-Company Transactions

From General Settings >> Inter-Company Transactions option, select Synchronize Inventory Transfer and select Stock Operation if the other company create a delivery order.
For the Company 'My Company (San Francisco)' the stock Operation should be 'San Francisco: Receipts' and For the Company 'My Company (Chicago)' the stock Operation will be 'Chicago: Receipts'

Make Sure the multi-location is active

Set the Default Source Location and Default Destination Location in Receipts operation in all companies
