Get Variance Report between BoM and Actual Manufacturing Order
In process manufacturing, the quantity of raw materials consumed are mostly different from the quantities planned or estimated through BoM.
This module provides:
1. Information of Actual BoM on the manufacturing order.
2. Information of Variance Analysis on the manufacturing order with color indication of high, low or same consumption of raw materials.
3. Variance analysis report with color indication and over/under/same cost difference in PDF format.
Using above features, you can analyze whether the consumption of raw materials is higher or lower than expected or within the tolerance factor.
Manufacturing Order Marked as "Done"
A "Done" manufacturing order where the actual consumed quantity has been entered.
"Actual BoM" Tab on Manufacturing Order
When the manufacturing order is confirmed, a new tab "Actual BoM" is created on the MO (manufacturing Order), showing the planned quantities of materials to be used.
"Variance Analysis" Tab on Manufacturing Order
When manufacturing order is done, a new tab "Variance analysis" is created on it which shows the variations between planned and actually consumed quantities of materials.
When consumption is higher than expected, the color of entry in this tab changes to "Red".
When consumption is lower than expected, the color of entry in this tab changes to "Green".
When consumption is exactly as expected, the color of entry in this tab remains unchanged.
Variance Analysis Report
The variance analysis report can be generated from "print" menu. This also uses red color for high consumption, green color for low consumption and black color for equal consumption. Additionally, there is an upward or downward arrow with variance percentage highlighting the low or high consumption.
