Point Of Sale Order Types This module lets POS users select an order type directly on the POS screen. You can create custom order types, set a default type, and view the selected type on receipts and in the backend.
Go to Point of Sale > Configuration > Order Types.
Create order types as per your requirements, such as Dine-In, Takeaway, or Delivery.
Navigate to Point of Sale > Configuration > Settings.
In the Order Types section, enable "Order Type."
Set the order type mode, order types, and default order type as per your requirements.
Now, in the Point of Sale, create an order.
The default order type is automatically applied to the order as configured earlier.
Click on "Order Type" to open a pop-up displaying the available order type options. Select one if you wish to change it.
After selecting type, complete the order.
In the orders, you will find that the order type is set as "DineIn".
Now, if you select the order type as "Delivery Order."
This order will be delivered to the selected customer.
In the orders, you will find that the order type is set as 'Delivery'.
