Automatic history creation

The module automatically creates a copy of the knowledge articles at specified times as a scheduled task if there have been any changes to them. The time interval can be set in scheduled tasks. By default, changes are checked every 10 minutes.

Manual snapshot creation

A snapshot of knowledge articles can be taken manually at any time. The taken snapshot can be marked with a comment so that it is easier to find it later.

Article history

Changes of the knowledge article can be easily retrieved. You can browse either directly from the article or in a separate list, in which the search is aided by various filtering conditions.

Restore article

Any previous state can be easily restored at the push of a button. At the moment of the reset, a fresh snapshot is also taken so that the current state is not lost.

Expected features

We will update the module soon with a cleaning function, which will prevent the size of database from growing too large if there are many changes. It will be possible to specify how long the history is kept by the system. The retention time of automatic history and manual snapshots can be specified separately, in time or in quantity.

After that we will create a comparison function to make it easier to track the changes between versions.

Anyone who purchased the module will automatically be entitled tot he new functions.
