Description of Modules

The collection of Document Management System modules is designed to facilitate routine work with documents. With the help of our modules, your time for processing, creating and correcting documents will be reduced, which in turn will allow you to find time for business development and implementation of new ideas.

This collection consists of six Document Management System modules.

The Document Management System module allows you to store any documents in the Odoo system, organize documents using the directory mechanism, manage the directory hierarchy, and control access to document directories using the access group mechanism. This module helps you find the documents you need by tags, filters, categories quickly. The module allows you to create multiple document directories, customize the directory hierarchy and define the main directory. You can also create subdirectories in the main directory.

The DMS Document Attachment module allows you to manage folders and attachments, moves all attachments to a particular model to structured folders. You can easily find the necessary documents for all employees and clients of the company.

The DMS Validation module allows you to create a new type of document "For validation". Thus, you can create and send documents for verification and approval automatically. You can also specify the options for who exactly should check the document: one person; a list of people in turn; a list of people in any order; one person from the list.

The DMS Document Version module allows you to create a new type of document "Document with versions". You will be able to keep track of document versions and save each previous version of the document.

The DMS Document Template module allows you to create documents based on a template in minutes. This module is linked to four models of the Odoo system: Contacts, Journal Entry, Purchase Order and Sales Order. You can easily create Contracts, Invoices and other accounting documents using data only from the Odoo system. The module allows you to take any field value from four models and link them to a template.

Thanks to the DMS Vchasno module, you can easily transfer any document to the Vchasno document management service in time for signing. The module will help you track the automatic change of status and signature. It will make PDF documents upload (invoices, contracts, acts, invoices, waybills, etc.) to the Odoo system pleasant and easy.
