The main purpose of this module is to allow payments to be taken and refunds to be given within Odoo. This module is designed for MOTO Payments - "A mail order / telephone order (MOTO) is a transaction initiated via mail order or over the phone.""
The benefit of using this module is to remove the need to go to the card provider's portal or website to take a card payment. Additionally, you can send your customer a notification when a payment or refund has taken place to confirm their purchase, through an email and SMS message.
