Limit Cash Control in Odoo Point of Sale
Customize Cash Control Mechanism in Point of Sales
About
The problem and solution
Problem 1:
The point of sale module assumes a cashier will always open the day with the previous closing cash and as such sets the opening cash as the previous session closing cash. Although this can always be changed manually, Cashiers typically forget to change the value which eventually leads to accounting issues, especially with the profit/loss statement.
Solution 1:
In some business cases, it will be more rational to be allow the manger set a fixed default opening amount which may be zero or not for each pos.
Problem 2:
By default, Cashiers get to see the session payments values in each account by clicking on the "Close" button, this may not be desired in some organizations that consider them confidential.
Solution 2:
It will be great to selectively choose whether a point os sale session should have access to the closing payment summary or not.

New Update
A new update has just been released for V15 and V16 to cater for some noticed anomaly.
Hello, I am about to buy this module but just to make sure does it fix POS cash closing (cash difference observed during the counting) ? which is like the odoo 15. Odoo recently updated this accounting flow and we are not okay with it. We would like to be same with Odoo 15 POS cash control. May i have demonstration or youtube link of your module ?

Closing Cash Difference: If you enable the "hide closing control" no cash difference will be raised.
Opening Cash Difference: If the default opening control is set to zero, no cash difference will be raised.
Feel free to contact me, if otherwise or raise a refund.
Note: Email is better as I don't receive notifications from here.
Thank you.
does it solve the accounting different in cash issue?
Because normally in Odoo if you set the opening to zero it will consider it as loss
Re:
Yes
We have updated it to solve the default accounting issue
