Restrict Unit of Measure Creation and updation
The Unit of Measure feature in Odoo is used to create and use the units according to the business requirement. This module facilitates admin to restrict a particular user to create and update a new Unit of Measure. In some scenarios we require specific users to have rights equalent to admin and they should not access the unit of measure creation or update the same. In such scenarios this restriction need to be brought for that specific user. This will prevent several uncertainities in data such as the duplication in the unit of measure. Here as user settings this facility is implemented so a person with admin access can restrict this according to the authorization hierarchy in your company.

Overview
Unit of Measure is a feature that allows you to custom your unit of measures with the unit of measure categories available. Here this functionality has been restricted with the security reasons and only admin can permit the users for creating the Unit of Measure for your Products. While creating user it self or any time in the business scenario admin can permit or restrict a user to create and modify unit of Measure.
Configuration and Features

Install the module. Open any user form. You can see a option in the user form to hide UOM creation and updation. If you enable the option then the particular user will not be able to create the Unit of Measure.

When that particular user is trying to create or update a Unit of Measure. They will receive a warning message indicating the user access

In the product form also this restriction is applied in place of the unit of Measure and Purchase UoM, the user will not be permitted to change the Unit of Measure. The Unit of Measure assigned in product master will be applied here.

User can sell a product in multiple unit of measure from same category in the sale order line. This functionality is still available as it is mandatory sell a product with different unit of measure within that category.
