Streamlined Procurement Workflows: The module simplifies procurement by enabling users to efficiently add raw materials from Manufacturing Orders (MOs) to Purchase Orders (POs). By automatically grouping raw materials by vendor, it generates separate draft POs as needed, reducing manual effort and ensuring an organized approach to procurement.
Error Prevention and Enhanced Accountability: By validating vendor assignments for raw materials, the module ensures that only appropriate items are added to Purchase Orders. Automatic draft PO creation for unprocessed raw materials further minimizes errors while maintaining strong traceability between raw materials, vendors, and MOs for better oversight and reporting.
Improved Accuracy and Inventory Management: With the introduction of the po_qty field, users can easily track the quantities of raw materials already ordered. This prevents duplication or overstocking, ensuring precise inventory management and avoiding unnecessary procurement costs.

How to Install

Open Odoo ▶ Go to Apps ▶ Search module ▶ Install.
How Manufacturing To Purchase order Works

Navigate to the Manufacturing module and Open or create a Manufacturing Order.

Select Raw Materials to Add to PO : In the Components tab, check the Selected box for the raw materials you want to include in a purchase order
Ensure the selected raw materials have at least one vendor assigned in their product master data.
Note: If a product does not have a vendor, the system will raise a validation error.

Add Raw Materials to PO: 1. Click the Add to PO button.
2.The system will Group products by vendor. Check for existing draft purchase orders for the selected vendor and manufacturing order. Add raw materials to an existing draft purchase order or create a new one if none exists.

Note: On canceling the particular purchase order created by this method, it minus the quantity of the products in the Manufacturing order and for the different vendors in the product different purchase orders will be created.
To Update the quantity in the created purchase order Add the same product in the manufacturing order and then again click on the Add to PO button to update the quantity in the purchase order (if the purchase order is confirmed then it will not update the quantity in the product)
