Product Barcode Generator Odoo16
The Multi Products Barcode Generator module for Odoo16 empowers users to effortlessly generate and customize barcodes for products. Whether youâre managing inventory, tracking assets, or simplifying point-of-sale processes, this module provides the tools to streamline barcode generation within your Odoo environment.
How It Works
Upon installation, navigate to the Settings menu to enable barcode generation. Once enabled, simply access the Product Barcode Generator settings and configure the desired barcode type, size, dimensions, and human-readable text preferences. As products are added or updated, the module dynamically generates barcodes in real-time, ready to be scanned using any standard barcode scanner.
Key Features
- Configure Access Rights:Navigate to settings, then the Users Menu, select the desired user, and grant access rights to the Generate Barcode feature within the Barcode Management group.
- Real-Time Barcode Generation: Generate barcodes on the fly within your Odoo system, ensuring efficient and accurate tracking of products and assets.
- Enable Barcode Generator:Enable the dynamic barcode features by checking the Generate Barcode checkbox.
- Customizable Barcode Types:Choose from a variety of barcode types, including Codabar, Code-11, Code-39, Code-93, Code-128, EAN-5, EAN-8, EAN-13, and more, to suit your specific needs.
- Flexible Unit Selection:Select your preferred unit of measurement for barcode sizing, including millimeters, inches, centimeters, and picas, ensuring compatibility with your existing workflows.
- Adjustable Size and Dimensions:Tailor the dimensions of your barcodes with precision. Customize the width and height of the entire barcode drawing, as well as the width (thickness) and height of the bars within the barcode.
- Human Readable Option:Optionally display human-readable text below the barcode image, enhancing clarity and usability for your team members.
- Go to Sales/Purchase > Products Menu and Create Product
- Click on Generate Barcode button to auto generate barcode number and barcode image
- Click on the Refresh Button Icon to regenerate the barcode image when the barcode value/number already exists.
- To generate barcodes for multiple products, navigate to the tree view of products, select the desired items, then access the action menu and choose Add/Update Barcode Images.
- This will prompt a pop-up window with an option labeled Update Existing Barcode. If you wish to update the barcode for all selected products, check this option; otherwise, leave it unchecked and proceed by clicking the Add/Update Barcode and Barcode Image button.
