6 Smart Payment Statuses
| Status | Meaning | Color |
|---|---|---|
| ✅ Fully Paid | All invoices are fully settled. No balance remaining. | ■ Green |
| 🟠 Partially Paid | Payment received but balance still outstanding. Shows % paid. | ■ Orange |
| 💛 Unpaid | Invoice exists but no payment received yet. | ■ Yellow |
| 🔴 Overdue | Payment is past due date. Shows exact overdue days count. | ■ Red |

Installation
- Copy this module into your Odoo custom addons directory.
- Restart the Odoo server.
- Activate Developer Mode.
- Install the module from Apps menu.
- Navigate to Sales → Orders to see payment status columns.
- Use Sales → Payment Status → Sales Payment Report for full report.
How It Works
Once installed, every confirmed sales order automatically displays:
- Payment status badge in list view and form stat buttons
- Outstanding balance stat button on the form
- Overdue days stat button (visible only when overdue)
- A dedicated "Payment Status" tab on the order form
- Automatic chatter alert when an order becomes overdue
The scheduled cron runs daily and posts an internal note on any newly overdue order so your team is always aware.
