Saudi Riyal (SAR) New Currency Symbol
Use the official new Saudi Riyal symbol everywhere in your Odoo — backend, frontend, eCommerce, POS, invoices and PDFs.
The official new SAR symbol, everywhere
On 20 February 2025 the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) unveiled the new official Riyal symbol, encoded as Unicode U+20C1 in Unicode 17.0. This module renders the new symbol consistently across the entire Odoo experience using an embedded font — no manual configuration, no missing-glyph squares in your PDFs.
