BackBlaze B2 Connector

  • arrow Just like Amazon Web Services, Backblaze offers cloud storage service, as you are probably already aware and using it. So let's begin detail overview on Backblaze B2 Connector. Basically, It effectively acts as a data bridge between Odoo and Backblaze. It does mean that all attached files like images, videos, pdfs, CAD files and all from your Odoo account will sync automatically to your Backblaze bucket.

BackBlaze B2 Connector

How to Install

  • arrow Open Odoo -> Apps -> BackBlaze b2 connector ->Activate


How to utilize it

  • arrow Settings -> (Scroll down) -> Activate the developer mode (with tests assets)


  • arrow Settings -> Technical (drop down) -> Backblaze B2 -> Configuration


  • arrow Backblaze Bucket in this example is already linked to the Oddo account. Click CREATE and then enter Backblaze Bucket credential to link Backblaze Bucket with Odoo. (screenshot provided below)


  • arrow Do the following to sync data from Odoo to your Backblaze Bucket.
  • arrow Odoo home page -> Type : scheduled actions -> (Enter)


  • arrow Click on Backblaze : Upload Attachment To Backblaze


  • arrow The screenshot below shows the configuration wizard for Backblaze: Upload Attachment To Backblaze. To automate schedule action, Confirm all fields then turn the toggle on to activate it or You can manually execute it by clicking the RUN MANUALLY button.


  • arrow Once this scheduled action has occurred, check the Backblaze Bucket. Now, all attached files like images, videos, pdfs, CAD files and all attached data from Odoo have synchronized into the Backblaze Bucket.
