Construction Project Planning and Controlling

Configurations

Once installed the apps configure the following details:

Go to project module → Configuration → Settings

• Stages master - Manage stages such as draft, approve.
• Stages transaction - Manage the stages of each model.
• Labour - Manage the labour details such as position, rates, category, class and units.
• Tasks Library - Manage the task with planned materials and labour details.
• Manages labour category and subcategories.

Project

Application allows you to create a project with the details such as start date, end date, assigned manager, project consultant information, sub project information, site information, other info and documents.

Subprojects

Application allows to create subprojects associated with the project.

Task Library

Manage the task with planned materials and labour details.

Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

Break the complete project into multiple phases which consists of WBS name, planned start date, planned end date, WBS group, estimated materials and labours.

Construction - Purchase Management

Material Requisitions

1. Create the materials for the project works, those materials are loaded from WBS.
2. Once click the create material requisition the requisition form open as below.
3. Provide the project details and Click the search button, then the list of materials will be loaded.
4. Select the materials and click the create button.
5. Once clicked the requisitions are created.
6. Go to the View material requisition menu.
7. View the material requisition one by one and approved.

Purchase order and Reception

• Approve the purchase requisition.
• Confirm order.
• Click the shipment button.
• Approve the receptions by the inventory manager.
• Validate and receive the goods.

Odoo Construction - Contracting Management

Go to Execution → Click Execution menu → Click create labour requisition

Work Order Management

Go to Apps → Contracting →Labour → Workorder

Select the details such as contractor name, project name, sub project and WBS.

• Click Add requisitions button.
• The work order form will open.
• Click the search button.
• Click select all button and click add requisitions button.

Task Completion

Go to Execution apps → Task completion menu → Click create task completion

• Once click the create task completion menu, the work completion form will open.
• Select the project details and click the search button.
• Once click the search button, the work order line will be created.

• Click the create/view button in the line.
• Once clicked, the task completion entry will be created.
• Enter the date of completion, percentage and click the change stage button.
• Once clicked the work completion record will be approved.

RA Bill

• Go to contracting app → Labour menu → RA Bill
• Click the create button.
• Add the project details such as project, subproject, WBS and Workorder.
• Click the compute button.
