Introduction
This document provides a detailed guide on how to use the Risk managment module in Odoo. Below, you will find descriptions of the key features, accompanied by illustrative images and a link to our support channel for further assistance.
Installation
To install the module, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Odoo instance with admin privileges.
- Go to Apps in the main menu.
- Search for the Risk managment module.
- Click Install.
Configuration
Feature 1: General Settings
Features that make up the General Configuration of the module.
Feature 2: Risk category
Allows to classify risks by categories.
Feature 3: Risk type
Allows to classify risks by type.
Feature 4: Tags
Allows risks to be organized, offering many possibilities when it comes to managing them and organizing information.
Feature 5: Area
Allows you to create the areas to which the risks belong.
Feature 6: Area Objectives
Allows to create objectives by areas, as well as classify them.
Features
Feature 1: Risk
Managing risk with its characteristics. It shows a view grouped by the main concepts.
Feature 2: Incidents
Risks can be converted into Incidents, they can be recorded and associated in the system.
Feature 3: Vulnerability and Threat
Vulnerabilities that may become Threats are managed (there must be information recorded in the observations field for it to be a Threat). These threats can then become Risks or just remain as Threats.
Feature 4: Identification technique
Allows the risk identification methods that have been used to be recorded, allowing prevention measures to be implemented in the future to avoid the occurrence of risks.
Feature 5: Sources Risks
Allows the recording of the sources of risks that may be the origin of them. Each risk can be associated with a source.
Feature 6: Prevention/mitigation measure
Allows recording prevention/mitigation measures that will be associated with the risks and the prevention/mitigation plan.
Feature 7: Prevention/mitigation plan
Allows the recording of prevention plans based on a set of measures and actions associated with the risks that guarantee their monitoring.
Feature 8: Control
Allows you to record the Risk Control process to help minimize or eliminate their impact.
Feature 9: Report
Displays key reports that enable senior management to make decisions related to risks, their control and monitoring.
