To pay a POS transaction using the John Deere Payments gateway, simply open a session as usual. Select a customer and gather the goods being purchased. Don′t worry, if the customer is a walk-in the user just fills-out the John Deere account information manually later on. Items for sale are gathered, and when the user selects “ Payment Method” the John Deere option appears.

When John Deere is selected as the method of payment‚ a pop-up appears. The user can enter information into the fields manually‚ or if the customer is already saved in the POS database - the card information is auto populated. The user selects “Pay ”…

…and within moments the user gets confirmation of a successful transaction. If there is a problem with the customer′s John Deere account, the user will get a message to call a John Deere 800 number to speak with a representative. The representative will look into the issue, and if it can be resolved‚ an “Access Code ”is transmitted to Odoo and the transaction is completed.

The successful John Deere POS Order will be recorded in Odoo accounting‚ noting the order number‚ amount‚ Payment by John Deere‚ date‚ etc.
