UPS Check Address
Description
This module helps to identify whether the given address is residential or not.
Configuration
After installing the UPS Check Address application, the feature will be enabled.
Go to Settings - - > General Settings - - > Contacts.
UPS Credentials fields are configured for this functionality.
Functionality
This module helps to identify whether the given address is residential or not by updating the Residential Address boolean and UPS verified fields by clicking the Verify Address button .
Before verifying the address, we need to configure the UPS Credentials.
For New API, enable the New UPS API boolean and fill in the following UPS Credentials.
Residential Address boolean and UPS Verified field are empty before clicking the Verify Address button.
After clicking 'Verify Address,' if the provided address is valid, a confirmation pop-up will appear, displaying the message ‘UPS has confirmed the address is correct’.
After validation, UPS is Verified and the date is updated.
After activating the Residential Address and clicking “Verify Address”, UPS suggests a modification to the address. The boolean “ Do you want to use this addres s”' is default set to true. If you prefer to retain the existing address, set the boolean to false.
After changing to an irrelevant address, a User Error appears with the message “The address does not seem to be valid”.
