Cash On Delivery Payment
There are many online and instant payment options in Odoo. We have added a new COD Payment option in it. This module will allow the Cash On Delivery payment method in website transactions. This will help the customers or visitors to buy products with the COD payment method.
COD Payment is available in Payment Providers as a separate method in Odoo back-end. This can be configured by the administrator and make available as per the requirements

Configuration
Let's follow the below steps to configure the COD Payment and make it available for the use on the website.
After the successful installation of the module, the COD Payment option will be available in the Payment Providers dashboard.
Website > Configuration > Payment Providers
Now configure new Cash On Delivery option
Under the Configuration tab set various options such as Payment form, Availability in
different countries, etc.
Here the COD options will be available in two countries as per
the below image. You can set as per your need.
Now there are various messages available under COD Messages Tab that make
this payment
method more user-friendly.
These messages can be updated as per the requirements.
Website View
COD Availability
On the website customer or visitors will be able to see the COD availability information on the product detail page.
Here COD availability can be enabled/disabled for a product as per need from the
back-end.
If the COD Available option is unchecked then the COD payment will not
be
available for that product.
Website > Product > Open any product > eCommerce tab
COD Payment
On the payment page, if the customer does not belong to the countries configured in COD payment acquire then a below message will appear on the page and the COD option will disable.
customers will able to see the Cash On Delivery option for the payment, if the cart contains only those products in which the COD option is enabled.
If the cart contains a product in which the COD Available option is disabled then it will show the below message.
If the order amount not in between the Min/Max Order Amount of COD (defined under COD configuration) then the COD option will not be available and the below message will appear on the payment page.
