Odoo Phonet PBX integration

This is a module for integrating Odoo with cloud VoIP PBX from Phonet.
It allows you to initiate a call from an Odoo, download and save information about calls, Contacts, show operators pop-up notifications about calls, automatically create from calls: Leads, Tickets, Orders, ... automatically create a task for missed calls.

From this popup notification, you will know not only the name of the Client, what Company he is from, what his function is, but also see all his Leads.

Phone calls in Threads

Use phone calls in model Discuss.

You will see phone calls in the Thread of: Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Sale Orders, Tasks, Employees, ... any model containing the Discussion Thread.
Phone calls will be displayed in chronological orderalong with emails, SMS messages, notes, viber, telegram, whatsapp, skype, ... messages.
Listen to audio records of calls directly from the form Thread.
You will be able to make text descriptions of phone calls and see these descriptions in the Thread.
You can easily and quickly rebind a phone calls from the Lead thread to the Contact thread or another model thread..

Auto-generate Contacts, Leads, Tasks, Requests,... from phone calls

You can enable the generation of Leads, Tasks, Requests, ... for incoming and / or outgoing calls for each PBX extension line. Very flexible settings. Your Contacts will be created automatically from calls. Your calls will be automatically linked and displayed in the feeds of the models. When a Contact is generated, the phone will be automatically filled in. The Country will be automatically determined and filled in by the telephone prefix.

When your operator missed a Client's phone call, then operator will see this call in the "MISSED, BURNING" calls menu. When the operator calls back on "BURNING" phone call gets through (or if the client calls back and gets through), the call is automatically "UN-BURNING" (disappears from the list of "burning" calls).
If the operator missed the call, then in the Record associated with the call (Contact, Lead, Task, ...), a "Call Back" task will be automatically created for the responsible manager.
You can also enable the marking of missed calls with an "Star", and all missed calls will be accumulated in the "Starred" menu, but after the call back, this mark will have to be removed manually.

Installation module in Odoo

To install this module, you need to:

Download the module and add it to your Odoo addons folder. Afterward, log on to your Odoo server and go to the Apps menu. Trigger the debug mode and update the list by clicking on the "Update Apps List" link. Now install the module by clicking on the install button.

Configuration Phonet

  1. Open https://your-pbx-name.phonet.ua and sign In.
  2. Menu - Setting - Integrations - skrol down and press "Other CRM system"
  3. API server and API key. Store them in Odoo - menu "General settings" - PBX - "API server" and "API key". Switch to "Production mode".
  • At this point, the "Phonet" module should already be installed.

  • set url of your Odoo in format https://my.odoo.domain/phonet/get_operator

Configuration Odoo

  1. open Odoo - menu Setting - Users list - current User form - Rights - "PBX" - set "PBX Manager".
  2. tab "PBX" - set "Default number" equal to operator sip-number. Just get current operator sip-phone and check what is sip-number.
  3. If your database contain Contacts with phone numbers then you needed to Reformat all phonenumbers. Press Odoo in developer mode - General Settings - Reformat phone numbers - Reformat all phone numbers wizard - Reformat all.
  4. In Odoo Contacts - open Contact form with phone number.
  5. Press button with handset icon (to the right of the phone number) for make a phone call.
  • Make sure the sip phone is turned on.
  • Make sure the sip phone is connected to the internal line of the current Odoo user.
  • If the operator's sip-phone does not start ring, than check the settings of the current user(in user Form).
  1. After make test phone call, press "Phone calls menu"(handset button in odoo systray menu(to the left of the your user icon)) - "All phone calls" - The call you just made should be in the call list.
  2. Menu "General Setting" - tab "PBX" - open PBX number list - you see that odoo automatically add operator internal PBX. Set current odoo user for this pbx number.
  3. Menu Contacts - open Contact form and make the second outbound phone call to this Contact. You will see the notification about phone call. This means that everything is configured correctly.
