POS Integration Pax Device Terminal
Setup Information Required for Nginx or Apache
- Required Odoo-Server Online (POS Counter Internet Online) when do payment via PAX Device. Odoo Backend Validate Information Order Amount send to Card
- Required setup your odoo sub domain [pos/ui] to non-https. PAX integration working Local NetWork, no need https of /pos/ui security by Nginx or Apache
- Example Nginx setup non-https of /pos/ui : location ~ ^/pos/ui { rewrite ^(.*) http://$host:8069$1 permanent; }
- Your Odoo still keeps security base on https but your pos clients working local network on /pos/ui [non-https]
Required Setup for Running
- Integration PAX Device to your POS Odoo
- No need POSbox or IOTbox, Integration between Odoo and PAX base on Local Network of POS Counters, it reason we dont need POSbox or IOTbox
- When POS Cashier do Payment Order, payment information amount will send direct from POS to PAX Device via Lan Network
- No special setup for odoo like python libraries, only install and play
- Easy setup IP Address and Port PAX device, linked PAX device to Payment Methods, you always have IP Address of PAX Device when PAX turn on and booting
- Automatic update payment status, base on response of PAX Device
- This module allows customers to pay for their orders with credit cards. The transactions are processed on the PAX Terminal (no credit credit card information through Odoo itself).
- Depending on Device and processor support, this integration can handle:
- 1. Supported Magnetic swiped cards
- 2. Supported EMV chip cards
- 3. Supported Contactless (including Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay)
