POS waiter pos employee lock login screen lock table restrict table

This module allows to block the table once selected by the user. We have a control and security functionality in the elimination of orders in progress, and it allows us the ease of transferring tables from one user to another

POINT OF SALE (POS) CONFIGURATION




  • We enter the Point of Sale (POS) app to carry out the respective configuration.

  • We click on the three points and go to the settings section, as shown in the image.

  • We proceed to activate the section called "Authorized Employees".

  • Once activated we have to add the employees, waiters, cashiers and administrators who will use the point of sale (POS).

  • Once the previous steps are finished, we will have finished with the necessary configuration to enter the point of sale just by clicking on the button that is seen in the image.

POINT OF SALE (POS) OPERATION




  • Here we only have to validate the necessary information to proceed to manage the interface.


  • Once in the POS interface, we can select the desired table to take their respective order, which will be assigned to the selected user/waiter.

VALIDATION OF A TABLE OCCUPIED BY A DIFFERENT USER

  • We have an integrated table validation.



  • This allows only the user/waiter who corresponds to the table to enter and review or edit their respective order.

CONTROL OF ORDERS IN PROGRESS (DELETION)





  • To have control and security over our orders, the only ones who have permission to delete an order are the administrator and/or cashiers with admin permissions.

TABLE TRANSFER




  • We enter the table that we want to transfer.


  • We will click on the transfer button, this will show us a window with the list of users/waiters and we will select the one who needs to make the transfer. Once finished, this will open the tables section and we will select the table to which we want to transfer the order.

  • The table is transferred to the user/waiter who was selected

  • Here we can see and verify that the table transfer was done correctly, as you can see table T1 no longer exists since it was transferred to table T8.

NOTE

  • We always recommend logging out for security. in order to prevent another waiter from entering our profile.
  • As seen in the image, just click on the padlock.

I understand even the waiter reserving a particular module is not working. Once the app is installed there is not configuration to allow the waiter to reserve the tables.

this module block the table when an employee add products to a table. when an user pick a table and add products to it other employees can not access the table until the order is finished. you can test a see how it works in this demo server https://odoo16.techmayoreo.com user: admin password: admin

I installed the above module however there some missing part the configurations is not coming at my side like the lock order line.

Hello, the lock order line is not a configuration for this module. that is for other module that locks orders line after printed. https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/17.0/pos_lock_order_line

so don't worry about that configuration missing. 

this module to lock the access to the table by employees. please follow the configuration tutorial and if you get stuck let me know and we can schedule a call.

Can this module lock a table once there is active order on it. 

so even the same user who created the order, can not add new order on the same table ?

can I have demo account to test this module

Can you add function to the table. to allow booking, where customer will recieve a message when table is ready
