Approve Hub Management System

The "ApproveHub" project is a custom application designed for Odoo, focused on streamlining the approval process for selected models. It allows users to submit orders for approval, offers a structured approval workflow, handles rejections, sends email notifications, and seamlessly integrates with the existing Odoo system.

How to Install the module

To install the module you need to go on the Apps menu and remove the filter from the search bar and type the module name pragtech_approval after that it will be displayed the names of modules and click on the Activate button.

After installation, the name ‘ApproveHub’ will not be displayed in the menu because the user assigned to it does not have permission to view the module name ‘ApproveHub’

Go to Settings → Users and Companies → select Users → click on the user whose module name you want to display → set the role as either User or Manager.

Note: Only the manager can see the "ApproveHub" module in the Home menu section.

In the “Model” field of ApproveHub, the list of installed modules model names will be displayed

Note:- If no modules are installed, it will be displayed as blank.

For example: After installing the pragtech_approval_sale module, in the “ApproveHub” module the “Model” field should display the sales order

After adding a model, you can apply a domain filter using the “Add filter” button. Upon clicking this option, you can add conditions to specify the criteria for filtering records for approval flow

In the approver user list, multiple users can be added to perform the approval functionality on the selected model with statuses labeled as Mandatory and Non-mandatory.

Note: Only mandatory users have the rights to approve and reject the orders.

On the submit button, the state will change from “draft” to “submitted”. It will also configure the selected model and send an email to the assigned users.

You can also specify the number of mandatory users required to approve the order by entering a value in the “Minimum Approvers” field. If the value is “Zero”, then all mandatory users should approve the order.

Email

In the "ApproveHub" Approval form, there are a total of 4 fields: “Reference”, “Model Name”, “Domain Filter ” and “Approver User List”

Actions

When the form is in a submitted state, it should not be deleted, and if there is a need to delete it, it should be moved to the draft state

If the user name in the user list is the same, a validation error will be displayed.
