Product Cost Report

Issue encountered:

When producing a product, in addition to the cost of raw materials, there are various additional costs that need to be taken into account, such as electricity costs, labor costs, rent costs, etc. However, when calculating the cost price in Odoo, these detailed costs are not included in the report, so you will not know how much the main and auxiliary raw material costs are. Moreover, the allocation costs are usually paid on a monthly basis, so the cost price being calculated based on the average cost will NOT BE ABLE TO TRACK THE FLUCTUATIONS of the COST PRICE.

Solution:

We will reorganize the allocation costs on a monthly basis, then calculate how much these costs should be allocated to the cost price, so that you can track the different costs of each product. Moreover, you can track the cost price on a monthly basis to make the best business plan

How to use ? Very simple

You need to set up so that we know which product is the finished product with the Finished goods field in the product as number 1. If you also want to inform us about your main raw materials, you should tick the Main material field as shown in picture number 2

After that, you can go to Manufacturing => Reports => Product Cost Report
