Detailed Features
Set Up
Head over to the Odoo Apps section, and look for the Mindee Financial Document Parser module. Once you spot it, click to add this powerful tool to your Odoo setup!
Go to Accounting Module >> Configuration >> Settings and under the "General Settings" option you will find the "Mindee Financial Document Parser" subsection. Here you have to provide API Key provided by Mindee, you can also click on the "Create product while Financial Document parsing" and "Create Partner while Financial Document parsing" options to auto-create partners and products as per your business requirements.
Work Flow
Go to Accounting >> Customer >> Invoices and click on new. Here, you can attach an invoice as shown in the example below, and as soon as you press the "Mindee Financial Document Parsing" button, you will see that invoice details are auto-populated inside Odoo.
Similar to the above screenshot, You can also Parse Expenses Receipts in Odoo as well while following the same procedure as shown in the screenshot below, all of your details from the expense receipt will be auto-populated once you click on "Mindee Financial Document Parsing" button.
As you can see below, the details are auto populated. If you want to check more information you can go to the "Other Info" tab and scroll down and you will be able to see more information such as Mindee logs and there will be two more options.
In the Other Info tab you will be able to see Response from Mindee.
Inside the Scheduled Actions Menu, you will be able to see this custom Scheduler that we have created to Parse such Invoices.
Here under the same "Other Info" tab, you will see one more option called "Auto Parsing?" if you check it, with the help of Scheduler at a specific time you will automatically Parse them.
You will also see a new module on your dashboard called common logs, here you will see all of the logs from Mindee-related tasks.
You will see here all the common logs of Mindee-related tasks in proper sequence.
