Set Up
To begin with, have the Schedule Activity Reminder Module for Odoo downloaded in your system.
For its proper setup, go through the below steps.
Firstly, you need to install the Schedule Activity Reminder App from Odoo Apps.
It's easy to locate, just search on the name, you can identify it with the schedule activity reminder icon.
Hold on, you also need to enable it.
Apps >> Schedule Activity Reminder >> Activate
Work Flow
Now you will see the form view below. In the Type field, you can choose between Popup and Email options. Select Popup if you want to display an in-app reminder, or choose Email to receive the reminder via email.
You will see the Time Before and Unit fields. In the Time Before field, enter the numeric value, and in the Unit field, select minutes, hours, or days. These fields define when the reminder will be triggered.
The reminder setup is now complete. You can now use this reminder configuration within the scheduled activity.
