• Install Sales Approval Matrix module

Install Sales Approval Matrix in Odoo

1. Activate developer mode
2. Go to Apps
3. Click on Update Apps List
4. Search and install Sales Approval Matrix

Create Sales Approval Level

1. In Odoo, go to Sales > Configuration > Sales Approval Levels

2. Click the New button to create a new Sales Approval Level
3. Set the Threshold amount for the approval level.

4. Add a Salesperson (Leave blank if this approval level applies to all users).

5. Set a role of the approver/s.

6. Set the approver/s for this specific approval level.

7. Notify Approver is whether to notify the approver when he/she has something to approve.

8. Notify Salesperson on Approval is whether to notify the Salesperson when the approval has been approved.

Create a Request for Quotation

1. In Odoo, go to Sales .

2. Then create a New request for quotation.
3. Fill all the required fields.
4. Click the Submit for approval button.

5. Odoo detects the Quotation amount exceeds the threshold amount of the approval level we created.

6. If the Quotation amount is below the threshold amount, no approver will be added.

7. Sending email will not work when quotation is not yet approved.

Approver Notification and Approval

1. Odoo will notify approver/s once the Quotation has been submitted for approval.

2. Approver/s can approve or decline the quotation by clicking the buttons.

3. Salesperson will be notified when the Quotation has been approved.

4. Once the quotation has been approved, the quotation can now be confirmed.

Auto confirm quotation when approved

1. In Odoo go to Sales > Configuration > Settings.
2. Check Auto confirm Quotation when Approved.

3. Quotations will now be confirmed once the approver/s approved the quotation.
