Low Stock Alert
Know a product is running low before you're already out of stock - on the product form, on the sales order, and in a daily digest email if you want one.
What it does
Product form banner
A clear warning appears at the top of the product form the moment on-hand quantity hits your threshold.
Sales order warning
Adding a low-stock product to a quotation shows a pop-up warning - advisory only, it won't block the sale.
Low Stock Products list
One dedicated view under Inventory shows every product currently at or below its threshold.
Optional daily digest
Turn on a daily email summarizing every low-stock product, sent to whoever you choose.
Per-product threshold
Set your own threshold per product. Leave it at 0 to leave that product out of the alerts entirely.
Storable & consumable
Works on both storable and consumable product types - service products are correctly excluded.

Right on the product form
Set a Low Stock Threshold under the Stock Alert tab, and a warning banner shows automatically once on-hand drops to that level.
Caught before you confirm the order
Adding a low-stock product to a quotation pops up a warning - it tells you, but doesn't stop you, in case you have a valid reason to proceed.
One list, everything low
Under Inventory, a dedicated Low Stock Products menu shows every monitored product currently at or below threshold.
Optional daily email
Turn on the daily digest under Inventory settings and add recipient emails - it only sends if there's actually something low, and needs an outgoing mail server configured.
FAQ
Does this work on consumable products, or only storable ones?
Both. Storable and consumable products are monitored; service-type products are excluded since they don't carry a real on-hand quantity.
Does the sales order warning block the sale?
No - it's advisory only. You can still confirm the order; the warning just makes sure you're aware before you do.
What if I don't want alerts on a specific product?
Leave its Low Stock Threshold at 0 (the default). Alerts only activate once you set a threshold above zero.
Why isn't the daily digest email sending?
Check that it's enabled under Inventory settings, recipients are set, and you have an outgoing mail server configured under Settings > Technical > Email.
