Today Rate /gm

Usage: Manually entered or fetched rate per gram based on the selected purity.
Description: Used to calculate the base price for the gold content.

Steps:
• Go to the Configuration menu in the Odoo dashboard.
• Click on Products and select the relevant item (e.g., Anklets).
• In the General Information tab, locate Today Rate /gm.
• Enter the current gold price per gram.
• Formula: Rate per gram × Net Weight = Total Rate

Total Rate (Purity × Net Weight)

Usage: This is the gold value without any additional costs.
Meaning: The current market gold rate per gram. This should be updated daily as per the market

Making Charge

Usage: Checkbox to apply making charges
Purpose: When checked, includes extra cost as a fixed amount or percentage.

Sale Price (making charge + total rate)

Purpose: to calculate the final price shown to customers
Path :Sales → Products → [Product: Anklets] → Configuration Tab → Sale Price

It includes:
