Path: Sales > Orders > Quotations > Create

1. Select a Customer.
2. Add one or more Products (with configured warranties).
3. Confirm the quotation to create a Sales Order.

Upon confirmation of the Sales Order, the system checks each product for configured Customer Warranty Duration. A Warranty Record is automatically created for each item with the following details:

• Customer
• Product
• Serial/Lot Number (if applicable)
• Start and End Dates
• Linked Sales Order

When a Sales Order is confirmed, the system automatically registers a warranty for each product that has a defined warranty period.

Path: Inventory > Delivery Orders

If the product is tracked by Serial Numbers, assign serial numbers during the delivery process.
Warranty records will link to specific units.

If you sell extended warranties as a product or add-on:

• Create a product called "Extended Warranty".
• Add it as a separate line item in the Sales Order.
• Use automation to:
• Extend the warranty duration
• Create a separate warranty record or update the original

When a customer reports a defect:
Navigate to: Warranty > Claims > Create

Link the claim to:
Product
Customer
Serial Number (if tracked)
Warranty record

You can verify:
Warranty status (Active/Expired)
Warranty type (Standard/Extended)
Claim eligibility
