Yes, the image size in the report can be customized by modifying the QWeb template for the sale order report (report_saleorder_document).
The image is fetched automatically from the product master ( image_1920 field). When a product is selected in the sale order line, the corresponding image is shown.
Typically, the module uses the image_1920 (high-resolution) field from the product.product or product.template model.
