Manufacturing Product Substitute
In manufacturing, a product substitute refers to a product that can be used as an alternative to another product for a given application or use case. The substitute product usually has similar or comparable features, functions, and performance characteristics as the original product but may have some differences in design, materials, cost, or availability. Components substitutes can also be defined. It is easy to add or replace substitutes in a manufacturing component's line.

Features

Enable 'Allow Substitute product(MRP)'' from users setting.
Goto BOM where you can see substitutes for each component with quantity.
Confirm the manufacturing order by clicking on 'Confirm' button.
After confirmation from Mo, the 'Add Substitute' button will become visible at the component level.
To add a substitute, click on the 'Add Substitute' button. A wizard will appear, where you can add a substitute for a particular product. Once you have made your selection, click 'Add' to add the substitute.

To replace, Click on the 'Add substitute' button and simply select 'Replace' and add the quantity.
