Product POS Cache

This creates a products cache per POS config. It drastically lowers the time it takes to load a POS session with a lot of products.

This addon enhances efficiency by instantly reflecting backend product updates in the POS without requiring a reload, ensuring real-time data accuracy.     Configurations

    Initialization

  • After installing skit_pos_cache module, run these two schedulers in Settings --> Automation --> Scheduled Actions --> And by clicking "Run manually" button when pos terminal is in opened state
  • After install this module, your system will benefit from incredible loading speed of huge products in a few seconds.

    • Synchronization

  • Indicator increases whenever the changes happens in product.
  • Click the Indicator to synchronize pos product data without reload in POS.

    • Note:

  • Activate developer mode to view the Scheduler.
  • Keep these schedulers inactive.

    Hi,

    In this mode is all data synchronized from the server? product data (price, name etc...), pricelist, loyalty, promotions, customers (name, loyalty points etc...)

    Hi,

    Yes, in this mode, the addon synchronizes product data, including prices, names, etc., from the server. However, for synchronizing pricelists and customer data, we have separate addons as:
    To synchronize pricelist's data. refer below addon:

    And to synchronize customer's data, refer below addon:

    https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/16.0/skit_pos_res_partner
    These addons ensure that all relevant pricelist and customer information is properly synchronized and managed. 
    Please note that loyalty points and promotions are not synchronized with this setup.
