What is Trax Delivery Integration?

Trax Delivery Integration is the process of connecting your business's sales or e-commerce system (like Odoo or another ERP platform) with Trax, a third-party logistics and delivery service provider. This integration allows businesses to automate and streamline the shipping and delivery of their orders directly from their management system without manual intervention.

Trax Delivery Integration

Step 1

To set up Trax integration, enter your Trax API key and Trax sandbox API key. Then, select the appropriate shipping mode, payment mode, and charges mode for Trax. Once all the fields are filled, click the 'Test' smart button. If the configuration is successful, the button will automatically change from 'Test' to 'Production'.

Step 2

To proceed, create a sales order and select any product. Next, click the "Add Shipping" button. Then, choose the shipping method type as "sonic.pk". Finally, click the "Add" button to complete the process.

Step 3

After you click the Confirm button, the 'Delivery' smart button will appear on the screen. Click on the 'Delivery' button to proceed with the next steps.

Step 4

After clicking the "Delivery" button, click the "Validate" button to confirm the delivery. Once Next Transfer, a smart button will appear. Click the smart button to proceed with the next transfer or related operation.

Step 5

Once the courier delivery integration is successfully validated, the system automatically connects with the courier service provider (e.g., Trax) to generate a shipping request. This process triggers the creation of a shipping label, assigns a tracking number, and prepares the delivery for pickup or dispatch.

Step 6

When you click the "Tracking" smart button, the system will open the shipment's real-time tracking page provided by the courier service (e.g., Trax). This allows you to monitor the current delivery status, location, and estimated delivery time of the package directly from within Odoo.

Step 6

If the courier delivery has already been validated and you proceed to cancel it, the system will attempt to notify the courier service (e.g., Trax) through the API to cancel the shipment request. Once cancelled, the tracking number and shipping label associated with the delivery will be invalidated, and the delivery order in Odoo will be reset to a draft or cancelled state.
