Sync Slack Users & Channels
Sync Slack Users, Channels, and Channel Members into Odoo with a single button click.
Full Message Synchronization

Slack Authentication
- Copy Client ID and Client Secret keys from https://api.slack.com/apps/ and store it as these keys will be used to authenticate Slack with Odoo.
Slack Configuration
- Enter your domain name in the Redirect URLs field and append /slack_token at the end. For example, if your Odoo server URL is https://abc.com, then your redirect URL should be: https://abc.com/slack_token.
- Click on save URLs.
Set User Token Scope
- Go to Basic Information -> Add features and functionality -> Permission -> Scopes-> User Token Scopes
- Click on Add an OAuth Scope button and give scope permissions visible in above image
- Reinstall you app to your workspace
Slack Event Configuration
- If you wish to enable webhook, enter your domain name and add /event/ at the end.
Event Subscription
- Click on Add Workspace Event button and subscribe to events visible in above image.
- Click on Save Changes
Slack Configuration
- Go to Settings -> Users and Companies -> Users
- Select the current logged-in user and add you slack credentials.
- Add Client ID and Client Secret key that you gained in the first step.
- Click on Build Connection.
Sync Slack User And Channels
- Click on Import Users.
- Go to Settings -> Users and Companies -> Users
- You can now view the Slack Users synced to Odoo.
Odoo Channels
- Go to Discuss to view the Slack Channel synced to Odoo.
- Due to Slack API limitations, we can only request 50 messages per minute. It may take a while to synchronize all the Slack messages as we sync 50 messages after every 2 minutes.

Yes, the app works perfectly well with Odoo Enterprise (On-premise and Odoo.SH) as well as Community. Odoo Online (Cloud) does not allow installation of third-party apps and hence this app cannot be installed on Odoo Online.
