CatchWeight Shipping Cost
In Odoo there are so many tools and methods to configure various delivery methods.The delivery charges may vary on the basis of delivery address,product weight,sales price etc.The company should be able to set up delivery rules on the bases of these parameters.Here we add catch weight feature in shipping cost.
Features
Create Catch Weight Product with Shipping Cost based On Catch Weight
Goto Inventory module then click products under products menu and create a new product as catch weight or edit an existing catch weight product.In product form under Sales tab enable the boolean field Shipping Based on CW.
Create a shipping method based on rule with normal quantity.
Goto Sales module then click configuration and select option Shipping Methods. Then create new shipping method based on rules.Create a new rule with condition based on normal quantity.
Create New Sales Quotations
Goto Orders in sales module then create new sale quotation with the product enabled field shipping cost based on catch weight.Then click ADD SHIPPING.
Add Shipping Method
By clicking on ADD SHIPPING a wizard open.Select an appropriate method then the shipping cost based on that rule with cw quantity will visible at the field cost then click ADD button.
