POS Multi Cashier Selection

In certain industries, different cashiers handle specific product categories. For example, Cashier A manages clothing, Cashier B handles electronics, and Cashier C looks after fruits and vegetables. It's crucial to manage these assignments effectively.

  • Assign Cashiers to Products :- Cashiers can be assigned to specific products during billing. For example, “Cashier A” may be responsible for electronics, while “Cashier B” handles clothing.
  • Remove Cashier Assignment :- You can easily remove or change cashier assignments as needed. For instance, if Cashier A is not available, their assignments can be reassigned to another cashier.
  • Display Cashier Names:- When you select a cashier for a product then you can see the cashier name of the product when hovering on the product.
  • Order Details:- In the orders section, the system will list the products along with the names of the cashiers who handled those products. This information can be useful for tracking and resolving any issues related to specific products or transactions.
  • Easy Configuration:- The feature should be user-friendly and configurable, allowing administrators to set up and manage cashier assignments without technical expertise.

Working Process

Configuration

Configuration is simple,

  • Go to your POS system's Dashboard.
  • Choose the specific shop or Restaurant.
  • Click on the three dots and then select the "Edit" button.
  • Activate the option to “Configure Cashier in Orderlines”.
  • Select the cashiers you want to allow for billing.
  • Choose Cahier for each product

    Now, start a new session and pick products. We now need to select a cashier for each product; to do so, select the product and then click on the cashier; after clicking, a pop-up will appear from which you may select a cashier. To choose a cashier for each product, repeat the previous process.

    To see which cashier you've selected, hover over the icon, and their name will appear.

    Remove Cashier

    If you wish to remove the cashier, simply click on the red cross symbol; the cashier will be removed from the product as soon as you click on it. You can also reselect if necessary.

    Payment

    After the selection of cashiers, proceed to payments and pick a payment option then validate it.

    Here you can see all the cashiers of products. Go to POS→ Orders→ open order

    Print Cashier in Receipt
    When the receipt is printed, the cashier's name will appear below the product name. Using this feature you can easily track who was the responsible cashier for the product.
