Overview
This module enhances the Freight Management system by integrating with Sale and Purchase functionalities in Odoo. When a sales order includes subcontracted services (such as freight forwarding), purchase orders are automatically generated upon confirmation. This module allows you to:
- Link those purchase orders directly to the corresponding shipment bookings.
- Track logistics fulfillment tied to specific subcontracted purchases.
- Ensure transparency between procurement and freight execution.
Key Features
- Auto-link PO (from subcontracted sale lines) to shipment routes or bookings.
- Access related PO directly from the shipment or booking form.
- Provide traceability between customer orders, vendor orders, and logistics execution.
Benefits
- Ensure smooth coordination between sales, procurement, and logistics.
- Reduce errors when managing third-party transportation services.
- Provide a clear audit trail from customer request to shipment execution and supplier engagement.
Who should use this module
Recommended for companies providing transportation services via subcontracted vendors or managing import/export purchases requiring booking coordination.
