The Kitchen Screen module is a powerful KDS (Kitchen Display System) designed for restaurants. It provides a real-time kitchen display that helps staff manage orders efficiently, track preparation progress, and improve communication between the kitchen and front-of-house. With features like order merging, overdue alerts, and product variant identification, it streamlines restaurant operations and enhances service quality.

Merge order changes
Combine updates or modifications to existing orders into a single, unified order view, or leave them separated.

Order Overdue Alert
Highlights orders which exceed a configured preparation time. The order first turns orange and then red. -
Product Variants
Easily identify different product variants (such as size, flavor, ...)

Print on Demand
Print orders directly from the kitchen screen.

Deactivate dishes
Enable kitchen staff to quickly mark dishes as unavailable directly from the kitchen screen. This helps prevent new orders for out-of-stock items.The POS Stock Sync module is required to activate/deactivate dishes.

Allows kitchen staff to view internal notes of order lines. -
Overview Panel
Provides an overview of all dishes currently in preparation. -
Notification sound
Plays a notification sound whenever a new order is placed, ensuring the kitchen staff is promptly alerted. Can be disabled. -

I'm sorry to hear that it is not working for you.
Please make sure that websockets are working.
I have encountered this problem before while running odoo behind a misconfigured nginx proxy.

Great Kitchen application
This is the perfect app to be used in a restaurant kitchen, with all that can come to the mind of a Chef aiming to be in control in terms of managing orders priority, total quantity of dishes per type, production time delays warning .... etc

Hi,
I have used this app and strugling to have websockets work properly if the page is open for more than 5 mins.. And the orders dont reflect on the kitchen screen until refreshed.
Have configured the nginx as mentioned here also done the other mentioned steps in docs etc. but nothing works. In a real case the kitchen screen stays open for whole day and this requires page refresh for every thing. can you please help with the updated running code for this.

Not working
I recently purchased an Odoo App, but I noticed that the status of my order is still “Pending.” I would like to inquire about when my order will be processed successfully and how long it will take for me to receive the order.
Could you please provide an update on the current status of my order and an estimated delivery time?

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE MODULE, I DO NOT GET WELL WHAT THE ATTRIBUTES ARE WHEN I ADD THEM IN THE KITCHEN, IT DOESN'T SHOW ME THE ATTRIBUTES ON SCREEN

The problem was solved, it turned out that the nginx configuration had to be adjusted to support websockets.
