Which AI providers can I use?
Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT), Google Gemini, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint — OpenRouter, Groq, Ollama self-hosted… You can even give each agent a different provider.
Does my data leave my server?
Only the minimal tool results needed to answer the current question are sent to the AI provider YOU configured. No third party of ours is involved — there is no middleman service.
Can the AI delete or modify records silently?
No. There is no delete tool at all (a shipped test enforces it), and every write is either an Odoo draft or behind your explicit approval card.
Arabic support?
First-class: chat, voice dictation, charts with proper Arabic shaping, bilingual help, and RTL layouts.
Community or Enterprise?
Both, Odoo 17. Payroll tools appear when payroll is installed; everything degrades gracefully by installed apps.
What about scanned PDFs?
Vision reads photos/screenshots you attach in chat. A scanned PDF with no text layer is honestly flagged — attach page photos instead and the AI reads them.
Does it work with the Documents app?
Yes — say 'save this in the Contracts workspace' and the upload becomes a real Documents record in that folder, tagged, after your approval. Without the Documents app, files are attached to any business record instead.
Can I control tools per agent?
Two levels: category toggles (accounting/sales/HR/payroll/write…) per agent, plus a Tool Registry where you block any individual tool for that agent.
What do I need on the server?
Nothing mandatory. For PDF text extraction install pdfminer.six (pip); openpyxl enables Excel reading; both optional with honest fallbacks.
