Partner & General Ledger Currency Filter

Enhance the standard Partner Ledger and General Ledger reports with a multi-currency filter. Select any number of foreign currencies and see partner/account balances converted to each currency as additional columns — all inside the native Odoo report interface.

🚀 Features

  • Currency filter dropdown — appears in the Partner Ledger and General Ledger toolbars.
  • Multi-currency selection — pick any number of active currencies using Odoo's MultiRecordSelector widget.
  • Dynamic balance columns — a Balance (XXX) column is appended per selected currency, converted at today's exchange rate.
  • Line-level currency support — journal items already in the selected currency show their original foreign amount.
  • Accurate totals — the Total row shows the converted balance for every currency column.
  • Domain filtering — rows are filtered to journal items whose currency_id matches the selection.
  • No configuration overhead — enable the Currency toggle on the report form, then you're ready.

⚙️ Configuration

Go to Accounting → Reporting → Partner Ledger or General Ledger.

Click the ⚙ Edit button to open the report configuration form.

Enable the Currency toggle and save.

Click the Currency filter button in the toolbar, select currencies and enjoy!
