Advance Product Dimension
Advanced Product Measurement & Dimension is an Odoo application that enables advanced price calculation for product variants based on specific measurements such as length, width, height, and quantity. This feature is ideal for businesses dealing with customizable or made-to-measure products, ensuring accurate pricing that reflects the exact dimensions ordered.

Users can easily choose how the price of a product variant is calculated from a simple selection menu.

Dimension Method Option
User have option to select different product measurement option as "Length x Width x Height" or "Width x Height".
Under the product variant, the user must select the price calculation method—either “Based on Dimension” or “Based on Quantity.” If “Based on Dimension” is chosen, the dimensional fields (Length, Width, Height) will be displayed. Users can include or exclude specific dimensions by selecting or deselecting the corresponding fields, set minimum and maximum values for each dimension, and the system will apply validations based on these limits.
While creating a quotation, the salesperson can enter the product’s Length, Width, and Height. Based on these inputs, the system will automatically calculate the Dimensional Quantity (Dim Qty) and Weight Each (Weight Ea.) in the order line.
User can see the length height and width and net price of product is display on generated order.
When an invoice is created from a sales order, the product’s Height (m), Width (m), and Length will be carried over to the invoice line. The billing user can also manually add or update the product’s Length, Height, and Width directly in the invoice line.
When purchase generated by the purchase user, purchase user can add length, height and width of product in order line and based on that price will be calculated according to its height and width. Also same will be automatically effected when purchase has been generated from the sales order(by confirm sales).
The user can view the product’s Height (m), Width (m), Length (m), and Net Price on both the Purchase Order and the Request for Quotation.
When a Manufacturing Order is created, the production user can select the dimension method and enter the product’s Height (m), Width (m), and Length. Based on these dimensions, the system will automatically calculate the price in cubic meters (m³). The same process will be applied automatically when a Manufacturing Order is generated from a Sales Order upon confirmation.
The user can view the product’s Height (m), Width (m), Length (m), and Net Price on the Production Order.
