What it does
AI Chatter Reply adds an AI button to Odoo chatter composers. Users can generate customer replies, colleague replies, team/channel replies, summaries, next steps, corrected drafts and translations. The generated text is always a draft. It is never posted, sent, logged or scheduled automatically.

The assistant only prepares editable text. The user decides whether to insert, edit, copy or send it.

Provider and model configuration
Administrators configure one AI provider from Settings. The module can retrieve model lists from compatible APIs when credentials are available, while keeping sensible fallbacks for common providers.
Odoo native AI
Uses the same Odoo IAP/OLG AI service available from the native HTML editor AI command.
OpenAI compatible
OpenAI, OpenRouter, Groq, Cerebras, SambaNova and custom chat-completions endpoints.
Gemini
Google Gemini API support with text-generation model filtering.
Anthropic
Claude Messages API support with configurable model and API version.

Security and privacy
- Only authenticated internal users can call the assistant.
- Odoo access rules are checked before building context.
- Credentials, tokens and suspicious secret-like lines are redacted.
- Full prompts and full responses are not stored by the module.
- Debug logging is disabled by default and truncated when enabled.
